As part of the COLOURS project, Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa invites students and PhD candidates from all fields of study to take part in the Seed Funding competition - initial funding for student and doctoral projects.
Develop the idea that inspired you at the CoLAB
The aim of the competition is to support the early-stage development and implementation of promising projects, start-ups, social enterprises, and initiatives with social, innovative and/or economic value. The submitted idea must be directly related to the topics, challenges or issues addressed during the International Scientific Symposium, the so-called CoLAB, held on 25-27 May 2026, focusing on “The Health and Environmental Effects of Plastic Applications”.
Who can apply?
- teams consisting of 2–5 students and/or PhD candidates;
- participants who hold student or PhD candidate status at universities belonging to the COLOURS Alliance
What can the funding be used for?
Up to €3,000 per project. Under this call, funding may be awarded to at least two of the best projects.
The funding may be used, among other things, for:
- developing a project, prototype or service;
- programming, design and development work;
- marketing and project development;
- external services related to developing the idea;
- travel and transport related to project implementation.
How to submit your project?
Prepare a complete application and submit it electronically to:
prof. Piotr Rychter (Co-Leader WP4/9, JDU) p.rychter@ujd.edu.pl
