Incentive allowances for academic teachers for research and scientific activities

An incentive allowance for an academic teacher for research and scientific activity may be granted for publishing articles in the highest-scoring journals in a given scientific discipline or monograph published in the highest-scoring publishing houses or for editing monographs, or for obtaining a research project financed from external sources, affecting the evaluation of disciplines, or for patents for an invention, or for conducting significant artistic activity as well as for other significant achievements in the field of research or scientific activity of particular importance for the implementation of the mission and strategy of the University.

Incentive allowances for academic teachers for internationalisation activities

Academic teachers may apply for an incentive allowance for the internationalisation of the University.

An incentive allowance may be granted, inter alia, for project management or participation in a team leading a mobility or international or foreign-funded project, project management or participation in a team leading a project financed from foreign funds, including the EU, leading the work of a team or participation in a team preparing a project for foreign funding for the first time.  including the EU, concerning the internationalisation or popularisation of science within an international consortium or an international working group, organisation of international cooperation resulting in the implementation of incoming and outgoing academic exchanges, activities carried out by the Dean's Plenipotentiary for International Cooperation, activities for the promotion of the University abroad, including participation in recognised international education fairs, activities for the integration of foreigners at the University.

The allowance for supervising students or doctoral students under an international programme, supervising internships under an international programme, supervising students carrying out 3-month internships under bilateral agreements or an international programme, supervising foreign professors and participating in the work of recruitment committees is granted once at the end of the academic year.

Incentive allowances for academic teachers for teaching and organisational activities

An incentive allowance for academic teachers for teaching and organisational activities may be granted, for: launching a field of study of particular strategic importance for the University, including a field of study in English, postgraduate studies or other forms of continuing education, obtaining a didactic or organisational project financed by the external sources, participation in activities that have a significant impact on the popularisation of science, didactic or organizational activities of particular importance for the implementation of the mission and strategy of the University.

An ordinance specifying the detailed scope of the rewarded activities and the amounts assigned to individual categories of activities is issued in February/March and is valid until 31 December of a given year (the application can be submitted until February of the following year).
