“BE A HEALTHY POLISH WOMAN” CONFERENCE ON WOMEN’S HEALTH AT JDU’S COLLEGIUM MEDICUM

On 13 October 2026, a scientific conference featuring an expert panel discussion entitled “Be a Healthy Polish Woman” will take place at the Collegium Medicum of Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa. The main theme of the event is “Four Cancers Affecting Women - Prevention, Early Diagnosis and the Optimal Patient Pathway”.

The conference programme includes three expert panel discussions focusing on breast cancer, gynaecological cancers, and the patient pathway from an abnormal test result to diagnosis and treatment. The discussions will bring together representatives of the medical community, public institutions, patient organisations and patients themselves.

The conference will be chaired by Katarzyna Pinkosz, journalist, and opened by Elżbieta Markowska, President of the Polish Coalition of Cancer Patients.

An expert introduction entitled “Four cancers affecting women - key findings from the white paper: Where does Poland stand?” will be delivered by dr Barbara Huras, MD, PhD.

How can we ensure that no patient is lost along the pathway from testing through diagnosis to treatment?
