JDU REPRESENTATIVES VISIT PADERBORN FOR KEY DISCUSSIONS ON FUTURE OF COLOURS ALLIANCE

On 8-9 July 2026, representatives of Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa took part in the Work Package 1 working meeting of the COLOURS European University Alliance. Hosted by the University of Paderborn in Germany, the event brought together consortium partners to review progress to date and plan the next stages of the alliance's development.

The two-day programme featured a series of strategic discussions and interactive workshops. The first day focused on the alliance's mid-term evaluation and the planning of future activities. A key item on the agenda was the development of common standards for impact tracking and assessment, alongside discussions on operational quality assurance and reporting procedures.

The second day highlighted innovation and long-term strategic planning. It began with a visit to garage33, the University's innovation hub, where the participants were introduced to the outcomes of a hackathon organised as part of the alliance's activities. Later, JDU delegates joined discussions on the COLOURS sustainability strategy and the long-term future of the alliance. The meeting also addressed plans for future promotional events, communication activities, and the dissemination of project outcomes both within the COLOURS academic community and to wider audiences.

The visit to Paderborn marked another important step in strengthening cooperation among the alliance's partner universities and deepening European integration. These collaborative efforts make a tangible contribution to the development of education, research and innovation at Jan Dlugosz University.

The participation of JDU representatives was funded through the COLOURS European University project, which is being implemented over the period 2024–2027.
