BRONZE MEDAL AT WORLD UNIVERSITY CHAMPIONSHIP FOR POLA LULKOWSKA!

From 1 to 6 July, Warsaw, Poland, hosted the FISU World University Championship in Women's Futsal. Representing the Polish national team was Pola Lulkowska, a first-year Master's student in Safety Engineering at Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa and a player for AZS UJD Czestochowa.

In the group stage, Poland defeated the United States 6-1 before narrowly losing 2-1 to Portugal. In the quarter-finals, the Polish team overcame Chinese Taipei (Taiwan) with a 3-1 victory, while in the semi-finals they were defeated 4-0 by Brazil. In the bronze medal match, Poland beat Germany 2-0, securing the bronze medal at the FISU World University Championship.

We warmly congratulate Pola Lulkowska on this outstanding achievement and for proudly representing Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa, AZS UJD Czestochowa, and Poland on the international stage.
