JDU AT NAFSA 2026 IN ORLANDO – PROMOTING “STUDY AND RESEARCH IN POLAND”
From 26 to 29 May 2026, Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa participated in the NAFSA 2026 Annual Conference & Expo in Orlando, USA, as part of the national “Study and Research in Poland” stand, which brought together 13 Polish universities presenting their educational offer to international candidates.
The NAFSA Annual Conference & Expo is the largest and most prestigious global event dedicated to the internationalisation of higher education. Each year, it gathers thousands of participants representing universities, educational organisations, government institutions, and entities supporting academic mobility from more than 100 countries. The event featured an extensive exhibition area showcasing educational programmes, international cooperation opportunities, and solutions supporting the recruitment of international students and the development of academic exchange.
The visit was organised by the Welcome Centre of the Department for International Cooperation at JDU and constituted one of the planned activities within the framework of the Welcome to Poland 2025 project: “JDUall4U – From Recruitment to Integration” (BPI/WTP/2025/1/00005). Participation in the event was included in the project schedule as part of activities promoting the University in international markets and supporting the recruitment of international students. All activities were financed through the project funding.
During the fair, the University held meetings with representatives of universities and institutions from numerous countries, as well as partners involved in the development of academic mobility and international cooperation. Activities focused on establishing new partnerships, strengthening existing collaborations, and promoting JDU’s study programmes offered in Polish and English, addressed to international candidates, including members of the Polish diaspora (Polonia) and individuals interested in pursuing higher education in Poland.
JDU’s presence at the shared “Study and Research in Poland” stand enabled the broad presentation of the University’s offer in an international environment and strengthened its visibility in foreign markets. The joint promotion of 13 Polish universities enhanced the recognition of Polish higher education as a coherent and competitive educational offer.
Participation in the event forms part of JDU’s long-term internationalisation strategy and its systematic efforts to increase international student recruitment through active participation in key industry events and educational fairs.
