HYBRID MEETING OF COLOURS EUROPEAN UNIVERSITY ALLIANCE CIO HEADS AT JDU
On 27-28 May 2026, Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa hosted and organised a meeting of the heads of the COLOURS Implementation Offices (CIOs) from across the COLOURS European University Alliance.
The event was held in a hybrid format. The representatives of partner universities from France, Sweden, Latvia, Spain, and Croatia travelled to Czestochowa, while other members of the network joined the discussions remotely via the Zoom platform.
During the two-day meeting, the participants focused on key aspects of the alliance’s development. Discussions covered, among other topics, strengthening cooperation within the Erasmus+ programme and international relations, as well as exchanging structural best practices among partner universities.
An important part of the meeting was devoted to discussing joint initiatives, such as the Virtual Journey Week and the organisation of the European Researchers’ Night. The participants also addressed issues related to communication, the promotion of project activities, engagement with external stakeholders, and the long-term financial sustainability of the alliance. The meeting concluded with discussions on the next stages of cooperation and preparations for the July alliance meeting in Paderborn.
In addition to the intensive working sessions, the guests had the opportunity to explore the cultural heritage of Czestochowa. The organisers provided a cultural programme, including a guided tour of the Jasna Góra Monastery.
The event was financed through the COLOURS European University project (implementation period: 2024–2027).
