GUESTS FROM UNIVERSITY OF HRADEC KRÁLOVÉ
“From March 19 to 24, as part of a partnership with the University of Hradec Králové, the Faculty of Humanities hosted lecturers and students of German studies from this institution. The visit of the Czech guests was coordinated by dr Beata Rusek.
The visit had an educational character and was part of a project aimed at learning about and observing educational systems in European countries - this time in Poland.
During their stay in Czestochowa, the guests from the Czech Republic observed classes at Kornel Makuszynski Primary School No. 13 in Czestochowa, under the supervision of Ewa Buszko, MA, as well as at Juliusz Słowacki I Secondary School in Czestochowa, where their stay was coordinated by Zofia Sandak-Bernat, MA. An important element of the programme was also the opportunity to participate in classes together with students of German studies at our university, which fostered integration and the exchange of academic experiences.
A key point of the visit was also a meeting with the Vice-Rector for Cooperation and Internationalisation, prof. Marcin Sosnowski, the Head of the International Cooperation Office Bartłomiej Kowalik, MA, a representative of the Welcome Centre Agnieszka Jeż-Jakubczak, MA, as well as members of the Erasmus Student Club together with their coordinator dr Bartosz Stuła. The participants expressed hope for intensifying student and staff mobility in the future, emphasizing the importance of such exchanges for the development of language, intercultural, and professional competences. The exchange of experiences and direct contacts help build lasting partnerships and open perspectives for further joint initiatives.
During their stay in the city, the participants also had the opportunity to visit the Jasna Góra Monastery and the Jasna Góra Library. In addition, Czech students, together with their Polish peers, took part in a city game that allowed them to better explore Czestochowa and its culture.”
