JACEK MAGIERA HAS PASSED AWAY

We have received sad news. On April 10, 2026, nationwide media reported the death of Jacek Magiera: an outstanding footballer, one of the legends of RKS Raków Częstochowa, a coach, trainer, and mentor of young generations of athletes. He was 49 years old.

Jacek Magiera was a graduate of our University - Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa. He completed his studies at the Faculty of Philology and History (currently the Faculty of Humanities of JDU), where he obtained a Master’s degree in History. For many years, he maintained close contact with the University staff.

Always smiling, willing to help, and open to others - this is how we will remember him...!
