CEREMONY OF AWARDING HONORARY DOCTORATE & ACADEMIC PROMOTIONS

On April 14, a ceremonial event will be held to confer the title of Doctor Honoris Causa upon prof. Krzysztof Matyjaszewski, combined with academic promotions.

This event is one of the most important occasions in the University’s calendar. It highlights outstanding academic achievements and contributions to the development of science and the academic community. The ceremony will also provide an opportunity to award diplomas to newly appointed habilitated doctors and doctoral graduates.

Ceremony programme:
1. Entrance of the Academic Procession
2. National anthem
3. Address by prof. Bogusław Przywora, Acting Rector of Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa
4. Ceremony of awarding the title of Doctor Honoris Causa to prof. Krzysztof Matyjaszewski
5. Promotion of habilitated doctors
6. Promotion of doctoral graduates

The ceremony will be graced by a performance of the JDU Academic Choir conducted by dr Marek Kudra.
