JDU AT 6. INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION FAIR IN CYPRUS

Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa took part in the 6th International Education Fair in Cyprus, which brought together 30 universities from Greece, Hungary, Spain, Serbia, France, and the United States.

The fair was organised in cooperation with the Mayor of Larnaca and prof. Constantinos Charalambous, representing City Unity College Nicosia. During the event, possibilities for cooperation with Larnaca College in Cyprus were also discussed.

During the fair, the University presented its English-taught degree programmes, which attracted considerable interest among participants. Many prospective students were already familiar with Poland, had previously visited the country, and perceive it as one of the safer places in Europe. Participation in the fair constituted the first stage of activities aimed at converting candidates’ interest into a final decision to enrol at JDU.

JDU’s presence as an exhibitor was made possible through partner cooperation, allowing the University to be presented without additional financial burden. The collaboration between the International Cooperation Office and the partner Everyday Counselling and Student Services, owned by Maria Hadjiviakoumi - a long-standing partner of the University - enabled access to an exhibition stand fully supported by the event organiser. Participation in the fair marked another step in the internationalisation of JDU and in strengthening cooperation with international partners.
