JDU AT “CHOOSE CONSCIOUSLY” JOB & EDUCATION FAIR

On January 30, 2026, the “Choose Consciously” Job and Education Fair took place at Adam Mickiewicz 5th General Secondary School in Czestochowa. JDU representatives participated in the event.

The event was divided into two main segments. The first was a debate devoted to the current challenges of the Polish education system and the issue of preparing young people to enter the labour market. The debate, entitled “How does school prepare us for a profession?”, served as a forum for exchanging opinions and experiences regarding the role of education in shaping professional competencies. Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa was represented by the Vice-Rector for Education and Student Affairs, prof. Jakub Jakubowski and Amelia Plaskura, MA, from the Faculty of Social Sciences.

The second segment of the event was the exhibition fair, during which the following faculties presented their educational offer: the Faculty of Science and Technology, the Faculty of Social Sciences, the Faculty of Art, the Faculty of Law and Economics, and the Dr Wladyslaw Bieganski Collegium Medicum. Individual organisational units of the University prepared numerous presentations and activities showcasing selected elements of the University’s educational offer.

The participation of Jan Dlugosz University in the Job and Education Fair constituted an important element of activities promoting the University’s educational offer and supporting young people in making informed educational and career decisions.

We hope to meet many of the participants again in October, this time within the walls of Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa!
