PROM PROGRAMME PROJECT IMPLEMENTED BY JDU - SHORT-TERM ACADEMIC EXCHANGE

We are pleased to announce the successful implementation of the PROM 2024 (NAWA) project, No. BPI/PRO/2024/1/00016, carried out under the call of the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) within the PROM – Short-Term Academic Exchange Programme.

The project was coordinated by the university coordinators dr A. Galaidin and B. Kowalik, MA, in close and excellent cooperation with faculty and Doctoral School coordinators at Jan Dlugosz University: prof. Kamila Kapuśniak (Faculty of Science & Technology), prof. Anna Zasuń (Faculty of Social Sciences), prof. Helena Gonczar (Faculty of Humanities), dr Michał Służalec (Faculty of Law and Economics), dr Jakub Brawata and prof. Barbara Karaśkiewicz (Faculty of Art), and prof. Hanna Kaczmarek (Doctoral School).

During the project implementation period, 182 mobilities were completed, including 120 outgoing mobilities (74 students, 16 doctoral students, and 30 staff members) and 62 incoming mobilities (30 students, 25 doctoral students, and 7 staff members), with a total amount of funding of PLN 1,737,585.75.

As part of the project, participants undertook short-term international mobilities lasting from 5 to 30 days, for purposes such as library research, active participation in conferences, collecting materials for doctoral dissertations or scientific articles, conducting measurements using unique equipment, testing research apparatus, and working with unique artistic instruments.

The PROM – Short-Term Academic Exchange Programme was financed by the European Union under the project entitled “Short-term academic exchange as a means of improving the quality of education in higher education and research institutions”, No. FERS.01.05-IP.08-0218/23 (FERS projects).
