EVENING OF SCIENCE & ART AT PHILHARMONIC - JANUARY 28
Next week, on Wednesday, 28 January, the Czestochowa Philharmonic will host another event from the University Evenings series.
The evening will begin with a lecture entitled “Echo of Architecture”, delivered by dr eng. Marcin Zastawnik (Institute of Physics, Jan Dlugosz University).
The musical part of the programme will feature songs, arias and duets by J.S. Bach, G.F. Handel, M. Ravel, P. Tchaikovsky, A. Dvořák, L. Bernstein, and others. The performers will be Anna Noworzyn-Sławińska - mezzo-soprano (Department of Music, Jan Dlugosz University), Ewa Biegas - mezzo-soprano, and Grzegorz Biegas – piano (Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice).
After the concert, the opening of an exhibition by Adam Rokowski (Department of Painting) entitled “Paintings from the Fortunate Isles. Part One” will take place.
The event begins at 7:00 pm. Tickets are available at the box office and on the website of the Czestochowa Philharmonic.
