JOINT AND DOUBLE PROGRAMMES IN EUROPE 26–27 NOVEMBER 2025, LODZ UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY

On 26-27 November 2025, prof. Bożena Woźna-Szcześniak took part in the international conference “Joint and Double Programmes in Europe”, held at the Lodz University of Technology. The event brought together numerous experts, policymakers, university representatives, and international partners to reflect jointly on the future of cross-border education in Europe.

The conference addressed key issues related to current trends and dynamic changes in European higher education, in particular:

• flexible learning pathways and micro-credentials,
• recognition of learning outcomes and qualifications,
• development of joint and double degree programmes,
• the role of digital tools in designing flexible programmes,
• legal and institutional frameworks supporting international cooperation,
• prospects for implementing the European Degree Label and, in the future, the European Joint Degree.

The conference served as an important platform for exchanging experiences and best practices, as well as for discussing the future of European higher education.
