SCIENCE AND BUSINESS – JDU AT “ECONOMIC END OF THE YEAR” EVENT

We are pleased to inform that on 26 November, representatives of the University - dr eng. Anna Wróbel-Knysak, Head of the Department for Cooperation with the Socio-Economic Environment, and prof. Edmund Golis, Director of the Knowledge Transfer Centre in the Field of Science and Arts –
had the honour of attending the event summarising the economic end of the year, organised by the Regional Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Czestochowa.

The aim of the event was to reflect on the past year, create space for discussions on future cooperation opportunities, and strengthen the integration of the business community.

During the networking meeting, we had the opportunity to speak with representatives of local companies, local authorities and the media about the continuously developing cooperation between science and business, as well as to present the opportunities the University offers to the socio-economic environment of the city and the region.

We were also able to introduce entrepreneurs to the assumptions of the latest project, “Development Incubator”, implemented by JDU, which aims to support the technology transfer process at the University, thereby boosting innovation commercialisation and the introduction of new solutions to the market. The project is funded by the European Union under the European Funds for a Modern Economy Programme 2021–2027. The activity was carried out as part of Task 1 “Development Incubator” of the project “Science4Business – Science for Business”.

We would like to thank the Regional Chamber of Industry and Commerce for a year full of inspiring meetings and jointly implemented initiatives.
