INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCES CO-ORGANISED BY JDU
On 20 November 2025, the Faculty of Science & Technology at JDU will host the “XXIII International Symposium on Selected Problems of Chemistry of Acyclic and Cyclic Heteroorganic Compounds” organised by the Organic Chemistry Team of the JDU Institute of Chemistry. On 21 November 2025, the 26th International Symposium “Advances in the Chemistry of Heteroorganic Compounds” will take place at the Centre of Molecular and Macromolecular Studies, Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN) in Lodz.
Both conferences are co-organised by the Centre of Molecular and Macromolecular Studies PAN in Lodz and the Faculty of Chemistry at the University of Lodz. The organisation is also supported by the Heteroorganic Chemistry Section and the PTChem Branch in Czestochowa.
Plenary lectures at both conferences will be delivered by:
1 Gyorgy Keglevich (Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Hungary)
2 Yuske Uchiyama (Kitasato University, Sagamihara, Japan)
3 Daniel Werz (Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg, Germany)
4 Zbigniew Witczak (Wilkes University, Wilkes-Barre, USA)
5 Sławomir Rubinsztajn (GE Global Research Centre / Centre of Molecular and Macromolecular Studies PAS, Poland)
The scientific programme of the Lodz conference will be complemented by two poster sessions, featuring over 120 posters prepared by more than 170 registered participants. This conference is dedicated to the memory of the late Professor Julian Chojnowski, who passed away on 29 August 2025.
