POLSLANG WITH ERASMUS STUDENT CLUB
Members of the Erasmus Student Club organised an activity for international students called POLSLANG. The initiative was launched by Joanna Wrześniewska and Katarzyna Wajda, students from the Faculty of Social Sciences. The participants included students from Turkey and Spain, as well as a PhD student from the United States staying at the university under the NAWA PROM programme. Everyone had a great time, and the meeting became yet another example of a “students-for-students” initiative.
What is POLSLANG?
It’s an interactive mini-workshop focused on Polish everyday language, designed to help international students:
- learn the most common phrases and idioms used in daily communication,
- understand their cultural context and correct pronunciation,
- practice new expressions right away through short sketches, quizzes, and language games.
Two more initiatives for our international students are planned for this semester - details coming soon!
