“UJDIDACTICS. DEVELOPMENT OF THE CENTRE FOR INNOVATIVE DIDACTICS AND ENHANCEMENT OF STAFF COMPETENCES AT JDU” RECEIVES FUNDING

We are pleased to announce that under Measure 01.05 Skills in Higher Education of the European Funds for Social Development 2021–2027 programme, the project submitted by the University in the call no. FERS.01.05-IP.08-001/25 entitled “UJDidactics. Development of the Centre for Innovative Didactics and Enhancement of Staff Competences at JDU”, prepared by dr Anna Irasiak, has received funding.

The aim of the project is to transform and further develop the JDU Centre for Innovative Didactics (CID), which is responsible for improving the quality of the teaching process, and to implement activities aimed at enhancing the competencies of teaching staff and doctoral students.

The main results to be achieved through the project include:

• Establishing the CID JDU as a separate unit from the existing structure and developing it through the creation of a continuous didactic improvement system, which will include designing and implementing two types of training for academic teachers, as well as providing mentoring, interventions, and peer observations.
• Improving digital, didactic, green transition-related, and universal design competencies among 60 teaching staff members and 11 doctoral students.

The target group of the project will include teaching staff and doctoral students. Each participant will be guaranteed development in all required competencies, which will be implemented through specific pathways: for teaching staff: participation in beginner or advanced academic teacher training, a study visit, and networking activities; for doctoral students: participation in cross-age tutoring and a study visit.

Project implementation period: 01/05/2026 – 31/12/2028

Total budget: PLN 1,167,796.80, including funding of PLN 1,132,762.89
