COOPERATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN UNIVERSITIES FROM POLAND AND ARGENTINA
On October 30, 2025, the Polish side signed a cooperation agreement between Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa, represented by the Acting Rector, Vice-Rector for Research, Prof. Bogusław Przywora, and the Universidad Nacional de Luján (UNLu) in Argentina. The intermediary in concluding the agreement was dr Bartosz Stuła from the Faculty of Humanities, who in recent years has built lasting relationships with the local community of historians, including Prof. Bibiana Andreucci and her doctoral students.
The Universidad Nacional de Luján (UNLu) is a public university located in Luján (Buenos Aires Province), approximately 68 km northwest of the capital. The university was established in 1972, and after a break forced by political circumstances, it resumed its activities in 1984. UNLu has a departmental structure (Ciencias Básicas, Ciencias Sociales, Educación, Tecnología) and conducts education and research in fields such as history, education, natural sciences, technology, agronomy, and food engineering.
The signing of the agreement represents an important step toward strengthening educational and scientific relations between JDU and the academic community in Latin American countries. The collaboration will include, among other things, staff and student exchanges, cooperation on joint research projects, and the organisation of academic conferences. We express hope that the partnership will be long-term - not only in the fields of humanities and social sciences, but also to the benefit of other disciplines.
