AGREEMENT FOR “SUPPORT FOR EUROPEAN UNIVERSITIES” PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION SIGNED BY NAWA!

We are delighted to announce that the agreement for the implementation of the “Support for European Universities” project, funded by NAWA – the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange, has been officially signed! 
 
A reminder:
Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa (JDU) has joined the elite group of 18 Polish universities that received funding under the 2025 NAWA programme call.
Our University was eligible to apply for project funding thanks to its membership in the COLOURS Alliance of European Universities.

For the implementation of the project entitled “Centre for International Academic Cooperation”, JDU applied for 1,454,750.00 PLN in funding.
 
The project aims to:

  • increase the level of internationalisation at JDU,
  • strengthen the university’s involvement in the COLOURS Alliance,
  • intensify international scientific and educational cooperation – to the benefit of students, doctoral candidates, and university staff.

The project includes, among others:

  • implementation of 125 short-term academic exchanges for students, doctoral candidates, and staff of JDU and COLOURS partner universities,
  • introduction of innovative educational tools in the form of a series of interdisciplinary podcasts on topics related to sustainable development.

The project proposal was prepared by:
dr Klaudia Kijańska – Faculty of Law & Economics,
dr inż. Anna Wróbel-Knysak – Head of the Department for Cooperation with the Socio-Economic Environment,
mgr Bartłomiej Kowalik – Head of the Department for International Cooperation.

The work on the proposal was supervised by:
Vice-Rector for Cooperation and Internationalisation, prof. Marcin Sosnowski.
 
The awarded funding will enable:

  • enhancing the dynamics of the university’s internationalisation,
  • strengthening JDU’s position in the international academic space,
  • expanding collaboration with the socio-economic environment.
