Deep-Tech Talent Initiative (DTTI)
The Deep-Tech Talent Initiative (DTTI) is a flagship programme of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) aimed at developing deep-tech competencies across Europe. Launched in 2022 and running until the end of 2025, the initiative aims to train one million people in deep-tech fields.
It addresses the growing skills gap while supporting the digital and green transformation. The programme is targeted at high school students (with special attention to young women), university students, and adult workers seeking to upskill in new technologies.
The DTTI platform provides courses prepared by EIT and partners, funding and development support for educational materials, as well as a community of “pledgers” who jointly build the European innovation ecosystem.
Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa participates in the initiative - more information can be found here:

The “Digital Shield” course is also listed among the recommended courses by DTTI:

Why participate in the course?
JDU’s participation in DTTI stems from the urgent need to strengthen cybersecurity competencies within academia, which is increasingly the target of cyberattacks. The “Digital Shield” course is directed at this group - students, researchers, and administrative staff.
The course materials clearly demonstrate that “Digital Shield: Deep-Tech Strategies for Cyber Threat Prevention” was designed in direct response to current market needs. It covers the identification of threats, application of modern technologies to protect digital infrastructure, as well as legal and managerial aspects of cybersecurity.
Participation in the course enables learners to gain not only theoretical knowledge but also practical skills highly valued by employers. Considering the rapidly changing IT landscape, this is a unique opportunity for professional growth and better preparation for working in environments where cybersecurity is a key factor.
