GRADUATION CEREMONY OF FST ALUMNI THIS FRIDAY
On Friday, September 26 at 2:00 pm, the Faculty of Science & Technology will host, for the second time in its history, a solemn graduation ceremony for students who completed their studies in the 2024/2025 academic year. The event will take place in Aula Magna A-22, Armii Krajowej 13/15.
Nearly 100 graduates of master’s, bachelor’s, and engineering programmes will participate. Diplomas for second-cycle (master’s) graduates will be awarded to alumni of the following programmes: chemistry, safety engineering, and human nutrition & dietetics. First-cycle graduates (bachelor’s or engineering) will receive diplomas in chemistry, dietetics, computer science, multimedia engineering, forensics and security systems, and mathematics. The largest number of bachelor’s diplomas will go to graduates of forensics & security systems and dietetics, while among master’s graduates, safety engineering will be the most numerous field.
The ceremony, organised by the Dean of the Faculty, prof. Renata Barczyńska-Felusiak, will be attended by University and Faculty authorities, graduates with their supervisors, invited guests, members of the academic community, and representatives of the socio-economic environment. This year, graduates will not only receive special caps with the University’s logo but also ceremonial gowns. The event will be highlighted by a piano concert performed by prof. Maciej Zagórski. As in the previous year, the ceremony will be hosted by the indispensable Adrian Wasik MA.
