JDU AT LIBORI FESTIVAL & COLOURS ALLIANCE WORKSHOPS IN PADERBORN

On July 25-27, 2025, the celebration of the Libori festival took place in Paderborn – one of the oldest and largest urban events in Germany, combining religious and cultural traditions and an extensive programme emphasizing the regional character of this event. At the same time, the international workshop of the COLOURS European Universities Alliance was carried out, hosted by the University of Paderborn – the consortium leader. In these events, Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa was represented by the Vice-Rector for Cooperation and Internationalisation and a student of German Philology Zofia Piwowarska. The presence of our representatives was possible thanks to the invitation of the Mayor of the city of Paderborn.

During the visit, our representatives took an active part in the COLOURS workshops, the aim of which was to jointly plan a development strategy and identify the key advantages of the partnership of European universities.

Thanks to the special kindness of the hosts and the organisational support of the Mayor of Paderborn, we were able to fully engage in a rich programme of meetings and workshops, developing the international cooperation of JDU.
