GRANT FROM POLISH-GERMAN SCIENCE FOUNDATION (PNFN)
The Polish-German Foundation for Science has awarded funds for the implementation of a project under which civil, administrative and criminal aspects of the use of artificial intelligence will be examined - "Legal aspects of the use of artificial intelligence".
The aim of the research will be to identify legal solutions considering the risks that may arise in the future, taking into account the benefits and problems for society and the economy. Researchers will focus on delineating possible legal frameworks, in particular for the development, marketing, putting into service and use of AI systems, in line with the values of the rule of law and guarantees of human rights.
The project will be implemented in cooperation with the University of Regensburg in Germany.
The Polish scientists in the project team are prof. Bogusław Przywora and prof. Ewa Tuora-Schwierskott, representing the Deutsch-Polnische Juristen Vereinigung (German-Polish Lawyers' Association), while on the German side there are prof. Gerrit Manssen and prof. Rike Kraemer-Hope.
The results of the research will be presented at a conference to be organised in 2026 at Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa.
The project application was co-edited by the Grant Application Support Office.
