FOR STUDENTS: NUMEROUS PRIVILEGES IN ONE CARD

The process related to the implementation of the Virtual Czestochowa Student Card has begun. The project is implemented by the Regional Economic Fund in Czestochowa together with the Czestochowa City Hall and the Universities: Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa and the Czestochowa University of Technology.

One of the goals of the project is to support the "Academic Czestochowa" campaign, i.e. to attract more candidates to Czestochowa. This involves strengthening and building a strong academic environment.

- The card is to be a form of encouragement to study in our city - says the Mayor of Czestochowa Krzysztof Matyjaszczyk. - Thanks to it, the student will be able to take advantage of numerous reliefs, discounts and bonuses. This will be possible thanks to entrepreneurs who will declare their participation in the project. I hope that this list will include not only shops, but also service points and other interesting initiatives.

- This is an excellent initiative. I am deeply convinced that the card will meet with great interest from the students of our University. Perhaps we will also be able to expand the formula and offer a similar solution to our graduates in the future," emphasizes prof. Jakub Jakubowski, Vice-Rector for Education and Student Affairs.

It is planned that the card will be a form of application. The implementation of the Virtual Czestochowa Student Card is being handled by the Regional Economic Fund, which was represented by President Piotr Grzybowski during the meeting devoted to the virtual card (held on June 30, 2025). The director of Galeria Jurajska, Anna Borecka, has already declared her interest in the programme, announcing that the proposal will be presented to tenants of commercial premises. The spokeswoman of the Czestochowa University of Technology, dr inż. Katarzyna Brendzel also spoke highly about the card.
