JDU EXPANDS ITS NETWORK OF INTERNATIONAL PARTNERSHIPS – COOPERATION WITH EASYGUIDE INTERNATIONAL LIMITED

Developing its internationalisation strategy, Jan Dlugosz University intensifies its activities to promote the university among candidates from other countries. As part of these activities, the JDU Welcome Centre hosted a representative of Easyguide International Limited from Lagos – an accredited organisation specialising in educational counselling and supporting international youth in the recruitment process for universities around the world.

The visit was of a working nature and served to establish direct relations that will facilitate the process of application, obtaining a visa and acclimatisation in Poland for foreign candidates. During the meeting, the educational offer of JDU was presented in English, as well as the support system for foreign students including administrative assistance, accommodation, Welcome Centre care and the possibility of academic and personal development in an international environment.

The guest from Lagos visited the key points of the campus – including selected faculties, the Library, the Planetarium, the "Skrzat" Student Dormitory and the Academic Sports Centre – which allowed to get to know better the conditions that JDU offers to its students. The talks initiated specific arrangements for joint promotional activities, organisation of information meetings and support for candidates throughout the recruitment process. The University thus continues its mission to build an open, friendly and diverse academic environment in which every student – regardless of their country of origin – can develop their potential.
