JDU at education fair in Istanbul

On March 23-24, 2024, a delegation of JDU mgr Illia Kulchikovskyi, International Relations Specialist, and dr Bartosz Stuła from the Faculty of Humanities of JDU participated in the International Education Fairs of Turkey (IEFT) in Istanbul.

IEFT is the largest and oldest education fair held in various cities of Turkey since 2001, with higher education institutions from more than 30 countries participating every year. This year, the fair was held in Ankara (17 March), Izmir (19 March) and Istanbul (23-24 March 2024). About 20,000 people participated in this year's IEFT events. 

IEFT is very popular among young people looking for education outside of Turkey. This year's IEFT events in Istanbul at the "Study in Poland" stand were attended by a record number of participants from Poland - 25 science and higher education institutions. The organiser of the joint Polish stand was the Perspektywy Education Foundation as part of the "Study in Poland" programme. 

The stand of Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa attracted a lot of interest during the fair in Istanbul. Participation in the fair was an opportunity to present the educational offer and the possibility of studying at our University.

The costs of participation in the fair and promotional materials were covered by funds granted by the National Agency for Academic Exchange as part of the Welcome to Poland project (2022).
