Warm welcome to students from Ukraine

At the beginning of March, students from partner Ukrainian universities started 3-month internships at most of the faculties of JDU. Students will participate in classes in the following fields: administration, journalism and culture, economics, Polish philology, graphic arts, computer science, security engineering, painting, special education, psychoprophylaxis. Due to the war situation, some of the interns are doing their internships online. The internship will last until the end of May.

This is another edition of student internships as part of international academic exchange, organised regularly starting from the academic year 2017/2018 on the basis of agreements on scientific, didactic and cultural cooperation concluded by Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa with foreign universities.

The Department of Research & International Relations has prepared an information package for interns in Ukrainian, financed under the project POWR.03.05.00-00-A037/19 "Accessible university. A programme to support organisational changes and improve the competences of staff in the field of disability at JDU". The package includes a video presenting the university and a brochure with information to help students acclimate to the university and the city.
