DEPARTMENT OF MUSIC AT THE PHILHARMONIC

The Department of Music invites to its annual concert with the participation of the Częstochowa Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, which will take place on Friday, January 12, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. in the concert hall of the Philharmonic.The programme of the evening includes the world premiere of Edward Bogusławski's (1942-2003) "Musica per archi". The first part will also feature the Second Piano Concerto by Romuald Twardowski (b. 1930). The second part of the concert will be filled with the hits of the piano duo Marek & Vacek arranged by Michał Grotecki.The performers will be pianists: Maciej Zagórski in the Twardowski Concerto, Barbara Karaśkiewicz and Agata Hołdyk in the works of the Marek & Vacek duo and the band: Łukasz Sobolak, Miłosz Rutkowski and Tomasz Grabowy. The orchestra will be conducted by conductors Jerzy Swoboda and Marek Kudra.
