Information for foreign candidates for first-cycle or long-cycle study programmes

From 1 July 2025, foreign candidates submit in the IRK a written individual information about the foreign equivalent of the Polish Matura exam issued by the NAWA Director confirming the right to apply for admission to studies (only if the document is not a document issued by an educational institution operating in the education system of an EU Member State,  OECD, EFTA, is not an IB or EB diploma or is not covered by the provisions of international agreements). In addition, in the case of foreigners applying for admission to first-cycle or long-cycle studies on the basis of a document issued abroad, which is not a document issued by an educational institution operating in the education system of an EU, OECD, EFTA member state, is not an IB or EB diploma or is not covered by the provisions of international agreements, the university conducts entrance exams in order to verify knowledge to the extent necessary to undertake studies at the university or artistic talents, physical fitness or special predispositions to study in a specific field.

Information for foreign candidates for second-cycle study programmes

From 1 July 2025, foreign candidates submit written individual information about a foreign higher education diploma issued by the NAWA Director confirming the right to apply for admission to studies (only if the document is not a document issued by an educational institution operating in the education system of an EU Member State,  OECD, EFTA or has not been recognised as a diploma equivalent to the relevant Polish diploma on the basis of an international agreement or through nostrification proceedings).
