Laboratory of Environmental Research and New Materials.

The aim of the project is to create a laboratory for environmental research and new materials. Its implementation will involve the reconstruction and adaptation of the laboratory in order to adapt the existing laboratory rooms for the installation of scientific and research equipment as well as the delivery and installation of scientific and research equipment such as:

- HPLC chromatography system (LC-MS) 
- GC-MS chromatography system 
- HPLC chromatorgasphy system – SEC 
- CHNS elemental macroanalyzer 
- Sample preparation device
- TGA/DSC thermogravimetric analyzer 
- Analytical balance with solid and liquid density determination kit 
- Calorimeter
- MP-AES spectrometer 
- Texture analyzer with aging chamber
- Ultra Pure Water (UPW) production device
- Encapsulator
- Testing machine and press.

The project will contribute to increasing the marketisation of research and development activities.

Increasing the availability of public e-services through the implementation of an integrated library system with a digital library, digitisation and making available unique cultural and scientific resources of Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa.

The aim of the project is to create and implement an integrated library system providing on-line access to the library's collections and digitised cultural and scientific resources by performing the following works:

- Implementation and customization of the library system, conversion and transfer of data from the previously used, technologically obsolete library system and creation of the user interface
- Implementation of the "Digital Library" module
- Training staff on the library standard and its use in the new system and the use of the modules of the new system
- Digitization of cultural and scientific resources of Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa
- Purchase and launch of 2 stands for people with disabilities in the Main Library.

The project will be implemented: from 02.01.2018 to 30.09.2019

Innovation Incubator +

Lodz University of Technology Project Leader.

- Technology Transfer Centre of Lodz University of Technology

The aim of the project is to increase the number of results of scientific research applied in business practice through their implementation into industry and commercialization. The main tasks of the project are:

1. Initiating and strengthening cooperation between the scientific community and the economic environment, including the search for entities interested in implementing the results of scientific research and development works, through the promotion of the technological offer and participation in exhibitions and fairs of the "science to business" type.

2. Preparation of projects for the commercialization of scientific research and development works, including in particular analyses of the market potential of inventions and analyses of their readiness for implementation, as well as valuation of industrial property rights.

3. Technology portfolio management.

4. Conducting pre-implementation work, including additional laboratory tests or adapting the invention to the needs of the interested buyer.

5. Activities of Innovation Brokers.

The project is financed as part of the non-competitive project "Support for the management of scientific research and commercialization of the results of R+D work in scientific units and enterprises" within Measure 4.4 Increasing the human resources potential of the R+D sector of the Smart Growth Operational Programme, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.

The result will be:
- implementation of R+D works, consisting in increasing the technological readiness (TRL) of selected scientific and development works,
- improving the qualifications of the staff carrying out R+D activities,
- filing new patent applications,
- establishing cooperation between the scientific community and the economic environment through license, sale, lease or provision of research services,
- establishment of a spin/off company,
- preparation of reports on the analysis of the market potential of the technologies owned and their valuation,
- refining the technological offer of TUL and AJD, 
- creating internal procedures for managing the technology portfolio,
- organization of science-business meetings as well as participation and promotion of the TUL and AJD offer at exhibitions 
and fairs of the "science to business" type

The project will be implemented from 01.03.2017 to 31.01.2019.
Total cost of the project: PLN 2,562,850.00, including project funding: PLN 2,046,280.00
Total eligible expenditure of AJD: PLN 680,000.00, including co-financing for AJD: PLN 540,000.00.

COMPLETED EUROPEAN PROJECTS

1. PATENT PROTECTION

Patent protection for methods of synthesis and biological activity of new onion, achiral and chiral salts of ionic liquids, complexes of carbohydrate systems with transition metal ions and carbon nanotubes functionalized with substituents with stereogenic heteroatom.

Project co-financed by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund.

Priority 1. "Research and development of new technologies"

Measure: 1.3. Support for R+D projects for entrepreneurs carried out by research units

Sub-measure: 1.3.2. Support for the legal protection of industrial property created in research units as a result of R+D works

The project was implemented from 1 October 2012 to 31 July 2015. The aim of the project was to patent protection of new, effective methods of synthesis, biological activity and the possibility of using new materials in chemistry, a wide spectrum:

- new ammonium and phosphonium salts and achiral ionic liquids based on functionalization of amines and phosphines, containing heteroatoms, alkylating reagents, with selective and/or total herbicide properties

 - new racemic and optically active enantiomeric and diastereomeric ionic liquids functionalized with substituents with a stereogenic heteroatom 

- functionalized with substituents with a stereogenic atom of carbon nanotubes

- transition metal complexes with selected carbohydrate derivatives

in the form of 12 patent applications filed with the Polish Patent Office and 7 patent applications filed with the European Patent Office.

2. BIOFEEDBACK LABORATORY

Regional Operational Programme of the Silesian Voivodeship - a real response to real needs.

Establishment and equipment of the Biofeedback laboratory in the building of Jan Dlugosz University at Armii Krajowej 13/15 in Częstochowa.

5. RENOVATING AND EQUIPPING THE UNIVERSITY BUILDINGS

Regional Operational Programme of the Silesian Voivodeship - a real response to real needs.

Improvement of educational conditions through renovation of the buildings of Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa.

The project is co-financed by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund under the Regional Development Programme 2007-2013.

The scope of the project included the following tasks:

- the building at Waszyngtona4/8: purchase of window joinery, laboratory equipment renovation of the sanitary room for the disabled and construction of a ramp for the disabled;

- the building at Armii Krajowej 13/15: renovation of the laboratory of the Institute of Chemistry and Environmental Protection, renovation of sanitary rooms, replacement of radiator valves;

- the building at Armii Krajowej 36a: purchase of a staircase platform for the disabled, equipment for a computer lab.

Budget: 763 254,83 PLN

6. ACADEMIC SPORTS CENTRE

Project No. 701200-368

Academic Sports Centre - a multidisciplinary sports hall with a hotel part.

The project is co-financed by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund under the Integrated Operational Programme for Regional Development

and: Częstochowa City Hall, Marshal's Office of the Silesian Voivodeship, Ministry of Science and Higher Education, Ministry of Sport.

The project included the construction and equipping of a sports facility with an area of 4100.01 m2 with a hotel part and facilities, adapting it to the needs of the disabled and providing a high-speed data transmission network.
