IMPLEMENTATION OF CONSTRUCTION WORKS AT 4/8 WASZYNGTONA ST.

Implementation of construction works in the building at 4/8 Waszyngtona, including:

1) ADAPTATION OF THE BUILDING TO CURRENT FIRE SAFETY REGULATIONS

Task co-financed from the state budget.

“Adaptation of the building at 4/8 Waszyngtona Street to fire safety requirements”

Co-financing from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education: PLN 3,300,000

Total project value: PLN 4,273,860.35

The funding agreement was signed on May 27, 2025.

The investment involves adapting the building of Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa to comply with current fire safety regulations. As part of the project, necessary construction and installation works will be carried out to adapt the building to fire protection requirements specified in the Fire Safety Assessment and in the provisions of the Silesian Provincial Commander of the State Fire Service.

 
2) RENOVATION OF THE STAIRCASE IN SEGMENT C TO ENSURE SAFE USE OF THE BUILDING

Task co-financed under the European Funds for Social Development 2021–2027 programme: “Accessible University II. Development of organisational changes and raising staff competencies in the field of disability at JDU”

Co-financing amount: PLN 738,190.00

Total project value: PLN 1,063,139.65

The renovation of the internal staircase aims to improve the safety of its use, emphasise its representative function, and modernise material solutions while considering the needs of persons with disabilities. The use of contrasting elements will facilitate movement on the staircase for people with visual impairments.
