COLOURS CREATIVE CONTEST 2026 - SHOWCASE YOUR CREATIVITY & SHOW HOW DIVERSITY BRINGS US TOGETHER!

How do you interpret the motto “United in Diversity”? Students are invited to take part in the international COLOURS Virtual Journey Weeks Student Creative Contest 2026, which encourages creative interpretations of the European motto and reflection on the importance of cultural and linguistic diversity, inclusion and cooperation within the academic community.

The competition is part of the COLOURS Virtual Journey Weeks, taking place in November. The event aims to bring together students from partner universities, foster intercultural dialogue and explore the richness of the languages and cultures that make up the COLOURS Alliance.

Four Categories – Endless Possibilities

Participants can submit original work in one of four categories:

• Audio - music, a podcast or another audio production.
• Video - a film or another audiovisual production.
• Visual arts and graphics – photography, illustration, comics, painting or digital art.
• Text - poetry, a short story, an essay or another literary form.

Entries may be submitted individually or in teams of up to four people.

Why take part?
The competition offers an opportunity to showcase your creativity to an international academic community and share your personal perspective on diversity and European cooperation.

Prizes include the promotion of winning entries on the COLOURS Alliance’s official website and social media channels, the opportunity to be featured in an interview about the creator, and an official COLOURS Open Badge. Participants whose entries qualify for the European stage will also receive the badge.

Submission deadline and how to enter
The deadline for submissions is 12 November 2026 at 23:59 CET.
