DURING THE MEETING OF THE COLOURS UNIVERSITY ALLIANCE IN SPAIN
On July 17-19, 2024 in Tragacete (Cuenca, Spain), as part of the COLOURS alliance of the European University, a meeting of people responsible for organising and launching CoSpaces, i.e. a space for cooperation in the field of research and innovation, was held. They will initiate the so-called CoLABs on specific issues correlated with the needs of individual regions, in which representatives of companies and institutions, local authorities, civil society, as well as University staff and students will participate. For the latter, student hecathons will also be organised and a student entrepreneurship centre will be launched, where students will not only receive substantive support and mentoring, but also the opportunity to finance the implementation of the most creative initiatives.
The meeting in Tragacete was organised by the University of Castilla La Mancha and was set up as a space for dialogue on demographic challenges in rural areas. Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa was represented by the Dean of the Faculty of Science & Technology prof. Marcin Sosnowski and prof. Piotr Rychter.
Later this calendar year, a similar meeting will be organised by our University. It will cover crucial topics for our region. We will keep you posted on the details of this event.
