UNIVERSITY CLINICAL HOSPITAL IN RADOMSKO EXPANDS ITS CAPACITY!

We are always delighted to see our partners grow and are pleased to share news of their latest success.

As part of the project "Extension and Redevelopment of the Radomsko District Hospital Building to Create New Long-Term Care and Geriatric Care Facilities", a modern Department of Geriatrics and a Nursing and Care Centre have been established. This investment responds to the challenges of an ageing society and will provide residents of the Radomsko region - and undoubtedly many others - with access to comprehensive specialist care closer to home, as emphasised by the management of the University Clinical Hospital in Radomsko.

The official opening, held on 30 June 2026, was attended by the representatives of Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa: prof. Joanna Socha Vice-Rector for the Collegium Medicum, and prof. Barbara Kowalska Vice-Rector for Organisation and Development.

"This marks the beginning of a new chapter in the history of the University Clinical Hospital in Radomsko - one dedicated to the health, safety and dignified care of our local community," noted members of the Hospital staff.

The completion of this investment also opens up new opportunities for strengthening cooperation between the Hospital and the University.

It is worth recalling that the University and the Hospital have long worked together on a wide range of research and educational initiatives. We have also repeatedly benefited from the kindness and support of the Hospital's staff while organising promotional events that have highlighted our close partnership and helped promote the University among prospective students.
