“ONLINE IDENTITY VS OFFLINE REALITY” - HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS FROM ‘KOPERNIK’ ATTEND LANGUAGE WORKSHOPS
On Wednesday, April 22, 2026, we welcomed another group of students to our university - this time from the Mikołaj Kopernik General Secondary School in Czestochowa - as part of our ongoing series of language workshops. The session focused on social media presence and was held under the theme “Online Identity vs Offline Reality.” The classes, led by third-year students of English philology under the supervision of dr Magdalena Raganiewicz and Agata Leśniczek MA, encouraged the participants to take a critical look at how we construct our online image and to what extent it reflects reality.
From the very first minutes, the atmosphere was intense and interactive! The students worked with specific examples, analysed scenarios, and engaged in lively discussions about the world of social media. They expressed their opinions, supported them with arguments, and created their own “what if…” scenarios, all while developing their vocabulary and language skills - also in the context of the final secondary school exam. There was no shortage of creativity, deeper reflection, and active participation.
Thank you for all the involvement and great energy!
