“THE MANY FACES OF THE GUITAR IN ACADEMIC RESEARCH” 6. SCIENTIFIC & ARTISTIC CONFERENCE OF DOCTORAL STUDENTS & YOUNG RESEARCHERS TO BE HELD AT JDU

Dear Sir or Madam,

On April 22, 2026, the 6th Scientific and Artistic Conference of Doctoral Students and Young Researchers entitled “The Many Faces of the Guitar in Academic Research” will take place. The event is organised by the Department of Music of Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa.

This is the sixth edition of the initiative, dedicated to young researchers from Poland and abroad who are interested in guitar-related topics across various musical and cultural contexts. The conference will open with an inaugural lecture by the invited guest, Professor Emeritus Beniamin Vogel from Lund University and the University of Szczecin.

The event will conclude with a concert at the Bronisław Huberman Czestochowa Philharmonic, held as part of the “University Evenings” concert series directed by prof. Maciej Zagórski.

The event is coordinated by dr Wojciech Gurgul and Marcin Kuźniar MA.
