TWO DAYS OF INSPIRATION, ONE GOAL – DEVELOPING COMPETENCIES
Behind us is an inspiring language symposium entitled “4K+K Competencies,” which lasted two days. The first day focused on the needs of teachers, while the second day - April 17, 2026 - was dedicated to students: intensive workshops, learning through action, and preparation for the final secondary school exams.
The workshops were conducted for three groups. The first two - students from Czestochowa and Radomsko - took part in sessions entitled “Reality vs Social Media - Who Are We Online?”, led by third-year English philology students under the supervision of dr Magdalena Raganiewicz and Agata Leśniczek MA. The participants analysed the differences between reality and its representation in social media, developing communication skills, critical thinking, and digital awareness. They expressed opinions, justified them, created hypothetical scenarios, and expanded their vocabulary through language tasks, while also preparing for their final exams. They also explored their identity in social media. The sessions were creative, reflective, and highly engaging.
We would like to thank all the participants for their openness and the great atmosphere!
