JDU’S FOREIGN LANGUAGE STUDY CENTRE HONOURED BY ETS FOR PROFESSIONAL TOEIC EXAM ADMINISTRATION
Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa has received appreciation and recognition from the international organisation Educational Testing Service (ETS) - a global leader in educational testing and assessment, and the creator of the TOEIC and TOEFL exams.
In a letter addressed to the University authorities and the team of accredited examiners from the Foreign Language Study Centre, ETS expressed its appreciation for the professional preparation and administration of TOEIC examination sessions conducted between June 2024 and January 2026.
During this period, more than 230 candidates - both University students and external participants - took the exams. Special recognition was given to the sessions held in January 2025 and January 2026, which were the largest TOEIC examination sessions conducted in Poland during that time.
ETS highlighted the exceptionally high organisational standards of the events, effective administrative coordination, and the full commitment of the team responsible for preparing and administering the examinations. Particular praise was given for maintaining international examination procedure standards and ensuring comfortable and secure testing conditions for all candidates.
The letter emphasized that the cooperation between ETS and Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa is based on partnership, is highly productive, and brings measurable benefits to both parties - contributing to the University’s internationalisation and the development of students’ language competencies, as well as promoting reliable, internationally recognised language certification.
Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa plans to continue its cooperation with ETS in future examination sessions and joint educational initiatives, further strengthening its position as an institution supporting language development and international standards in higher education.
