AI IN ADMINISTRATION & CLIMATE

The application of artificial intelligence in public administration and climate action efforts in cities in Poland and Germany - exchange of experiences and future recommendations is the title of an international conference scheduled for 27 February 2026, from 12:00 to 16:00. The event will take place at Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa (at Armii Krajowej 36a, Aula Humanitatis).

This unique event brings together representatives of leading academic centres in Poland, members of the German academic community, as well as public administration representatives from both countries.

The project aims to summarise the results of research conducted by Polish and German scholars as part of a grant awarded by the Foundation for Polish-German Cooperation, facilitate an exchange of experiences, formulate future recommendations, and develop environmentally and socially responsible solutions in the fields of public administration and climate policy.

On the Polish side, one of the honorary guests will be a representative of the local authorities of Czestochowa, where the first pilot implementation of the Polish AI language model PLLuM in local government has been carried out.

The conference is co-organised by:
the Department of Constitutional and Comparative Law at Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa,
University of Regensburg,
and the Deutsch-Polnische Juristen-Vereinigung e.V. (German-Polish Lawyers’ Association based in Berlin).
