ENTREPRENEURS & EDUCATORS DISCUSS COOPERATION OPPORTUNITIES

On October 17, a meeting titled “Education, Mobility, Employment - European Funds and the EURES Network as a Bridge between Universities, Schools, and Employers in the Labour Market” was held at the Regional Labour Office. The event focused on the role of European initiatives and funds in fostering cooperation between the education sector and the labour market. The meeting was organised by the Regional Labour Office.

The event brought together representatives of local and regional authorities of the Silesian Voivodeship, educational institutions, organisations supporting professional mobility, and employers interested in developing joint projects with universities.

Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa was represented by Acting Rector prof. Bogusław Przywora, and Vice-Rector for Cooperation and Internationalisation prof. Marcin Sosnowski.


The Vice-Rector delivered a presentation entitled “An Open University - The European Future of Education and Partnership with the Labour Market.” In his talk, Professor emphasised the importance of cooperation between universities and the socio-economic environment and presented examples of ongoing scientific research at the university. He also encouraged further development of collaborative initiatives.

The participants had the opportunity to learn more about the university’s educational and partnership offer at the JDU promotional stand, hosted by Angelika Szewczyk, MA, from the Career Office, and Konrad Balas, MA, from the Communication and Marketing Department.

The meeting provided a valuable platform for sharing experiences, strengthening relationships between universities, schools, and employers, and discussing new opportunities for utilising European Funds to support the development of education and employment in the region.
