JDU RESEARCHERS AMONG “WORLD’S TOP 2% SCIENTISTS” ELSEVIER–STANFORD UNIVERSITY RANKING
In this year’s edition of the World’s Top 2% Scientists ranking – a prestigious list compiled by Stanford University in collaboration with Elsevier, featuring the most influential researchers in the world – scientists from Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa have been included.
The ranking consists of two lists: the first assesses scientific achievements throughout the entire research career, while the second focuses on citation impact for publications from the previous calendar year. Our representatives are:
Recognised for career-long achievements:
Prof. Dr. Hab. Mikhail Brik
Prof. Dr. Hab. Piotr Dobrzyński
Prof. Dr. Hab. Józef Drabowicz
Prof. Dr. Hab. Jarosław Krzywański
Late Prof. Dr. Hab. Wanda Śliwa
Recognised for achievements in the last year:
Prof. Dr. Hab. Jarosław Krzywański
Prof. Dr. Hab. Yuriy Povstenko
Dr. Hab. Marcin Sosnowski, Prof. UJD
The data used in the ranking come from the Scopus database, and a composite indicator (c-score) determines each researcher’s position. This indicator takes into account citation numbers, authorship positions, and co-authorship adjustments, focusing on research impact rather than productivity alone.
Detailed results of the 2025 ranking and its methodology are available on the Elsevier website.
