UNITED BY ACTIVITY – JDU PARTNER OF 15. CZESTOCHOWA RUN

This Sunday, August 31 – under the Honorary Patronage of the Rector of Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa, the Mayor of Czestochowa, and the Regional Council of the Polish Olympic Committee – the 15th Częstochowa Run will take place. This special jubilee edition of the event aims to promote running as the simplest form of physical activity, encourage a healthy lifestyle, and integrate the running community.

The University is actively involved in promoting and co-organising the event. The 15th Czestochowa Run is also an opportunity to showcase our city as a place friendly to sports and to strengthen the idea of volunteerism.

We warmly invite you to cheer on the runners and celebrate together!

Event Programme – August 31, 2025
8:30 – Opening of the Competition Office – located in the Sports Hall of the H. Sienkiewicz 4th Secondary School, 56 Najświętszej Maryi Panny Avenue (entrance from 26–38 Racławicka Street)
10:45 – Closing of the Competition Office
11:10 – Warm-up session
11:20 – Greeting the runners at the starting line
11:30 – Race start
13:15 – Award ceremony for the women’s and men’s overall winners
13:30 – Award ceremony for winners in other categories, followed by a prize draw for all race participants
~14:30 – Closing of the event
