POLISH TOUCH IN ANGEWANDTE CHEMIE INTERNATIONAL EDITION
The work was created as a result of many years of cooperation between two research teams, led by Prof. Piotr Bałczewski at JDU in Czestochowa and at the CBMiM PAS in Lodz.
This is a big event for both units, because at JDU, it has been the first such work in the field of organic and materials chemistry since the beginning of the University's existence (1974), while at the CBMiM PAS it has been the first such work in 17 years (2008), where only Poles are co-authors.
Angewandte Chemie is one of the most renowned chemical journals in the world. For over 60 years, it has been setting trends in chemistry, publishing groundbreaking works from around the world – from organic synthesis, through materials chemistry, to photophysics and nanotechnology.
A high impact factor, rigorous review, and global reach make Angewandte a one-stop destination for only the most significant discoveries. Publication in this journal is not only proof of the highest quality of research, but also a great distinction for the authors' team.
